City Builder Game

Built as part of a group project that aimed to create a city builder game that utilises a functional economy to simulate a working society. We set our theme to that of a fantasy world to have a more creative take on building a materialistic / market economy that made players manage and maintain multiple resource types that would be used for building the basic facilities offered. I had responsibility over the simulated-market economy, organising and structuring weekly meetings in addition to implementing the build system and tilemap as part of a pair in a group of 7.

We distributed roles based on areas of strength and established groups based on skills that members wanted to develop and build upon throughout the course of the module so we all had equal opportunity to learn. Leftover tasks were then picked up by and evenly distributed amongst individuals or pairs.
